One day
One day I was walking by
Seattle coffee shops when I saw a guy
playing guitar, he could pick those strings
I walked up to him and started to sing
Baddum hedum fadum haba daba woah
(This is a song from the nineties)
Hadum bedum fadum lada bada woah
(It's completely nonsense)
Badum bedum fadum yabba dabba doo
(That was from The Flintstones)
Hadum bedum fadum lada baddum woah
We made a two man band, called it Flannel Clothes
We were on the road, they were decent shows
Soon we found a cat who bang a drum
So we changed our name to the Denim Bums, and sang
Gotta getta lotta minced ricotta to put on top'a
(A plate of spaghetti)
Shoulda said lasagna, it woulda sounded smarta
(Now we're on to the bridge)
And eventually we hired child actor Macaulay Culkin to join our band playing the tambourine
Then eventually we found out it wasn't Macaulay Culkin, so we let some random kid play tambourine
Obligatory nineties song rap verse
Make noise if you wanna hear me rap worse
Okay, let me get ready for it
-nope
Caravan eggplant watermelon pants Do you believe in Santa?
(He watches you sleeping)
Robert Dinero in a gyro, that's my hero
(He's watching you Faulker)
Woah, this is my real voice, even when I'm talking
(He talks in his sleep too)
Thank you for listening, we are the Denim Bums featuring child-actor Macaulay Culkin.
